Nobody hurt in incident with helicopter at 4 Wing

Officials aren’t saying a lot about the incident involving a CH-146 Griffon helicopter at 4 Wing Cold Lake but they have confirmed nobody was hurt. The Royal Canadian Air Force says a helicopter had been involved in what they called “an incident” on the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range at around 2 pm today. Early reports say the helicopter was on a routine mission and had some trouble when it tried to land. Witnesses around the range say emergency crews were on the scene for the better part of the afternoon.

4 Wing Public Relations confirmed by phone that nobody was hurt in the ordeal. They say an investigation into what happened means a lot of details will stay private for the time being.
