Stolen batteries has Elk Point mounties investigating

Elk Point mounties say batteries have been going missing from worksites in the area. The RCMP says at least four CNRL worksites had 6 12-volt batteries taken on November 15th. Mounties peg the loss at around $1400. They say the batteries should be easy to notice. All are stamped “CNRL” on the top.

Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to call the Elk Point mounties at 780-724-3964 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS)
