The former Glendon hospital will now be home to an Addictions Canada facility. The building underwent a major renovation prior to the opening of the drug and rehabilitation facility. In the design has a separate detoxification area of the building, as well as aftercare area.

Addictions Canada is a long-term recovery center, that is holistic in nature and prides itself in not using drugs to treat addiction. The organization believes addiction is a mental issue and it focuses on mental health.  The facility will have full-time Certified & Licensed Professional Addiction therapists, counselors and Psychotherapists on staff.

The facility is privately owned and not government funded so they are able to predetermine the clientele. The Glendon location has the ability to serve 32 clients going through treatment for addiction, and has options for those unable to afford treatment.
