Lac La Biche Mounties looking for suspect after shots fired, chase

Lac La Biche RCMP are still putting the pieces together on a scary car chase that involved gunfire. Police are saying on October 23rd they were called by family in a grey Dodge truck who said they were being chased and shot at by a blue Dodge on Highway 36.

Mounties caught up to the blue Dodge at the intersection of Highway 36 and 55. The vehicle led them on a chase west to Range Road 132A. That’s where mounties say the suspects ditched the truck in a field. The RCMP is saying they arrest a man and a woman on scene while two other men and a woman took off. Police later caught up to the woman. The blue dodge was found to be stolen.

A 33 and 26-year-old man are now facing a variety of charges including possession of a weapon and possession of stolen property. A 26 year old woman also faces charges. A 45 year-old woman was arrested and later taken to hospital. Charges against her are now pending.

It is not known at this time if anyone from the Grey Dodge pickup was hurt.
