The Lakeland Catholic School Divison says it has confirmed the high enrollment numbers this year. Superintendent Joe Arruda says the division has seen a 6.5 percent increase in students compared to last school year. The unofficial numbers were released in September at the start of the school year.
Arruda’s presentation at the first board meeting of the year says all schools across the district have seen growth. 2704 students are enrolled for school this year. 2548 are in the Kindergarten to Grade 12 levels while 156 are in the Pre-K level.
