Farmers in the area will get a good dose of information at a seminar in Fort Kent on November 1st. The Municipal District of Bonnyville is hosting a Livestock Antiobiotic and Feed seminar in conjunction with the Lakeland Agricultural Research Association. The evening will take place at the Fort Kent Seniors Hall.
The information comes as the December 1st deadline for prescription medication for livestock approaches. Local vet Dr. Melanie Koetke will be on hand to present and take questions. Also featured will be Barry Yaremcio from Alberta Ag and a discussion on livestock feed.
