Mounties in St. Paul say they found drugs and a weapon when they pulled a driver over on Tuesday. Police say they were patrolling when they spotted a driver not wearing his seatbelt in town on the morning of October 3rd. After pulling the vehicle over, mounties say they discovered the driver had a suspended license.
The RCMP say a quick search of the car also turned up methamphetamine and a weapon. A 37-year-old man from Elk Point was arrested. He has since been let go on a few conditions and a promise to appear in St. Paul court on October 25th.
