October 25th is the day a Lakeland student will learn his punishment after bringing a gun to Bonnyville Centralized High School. The charges stem from an incident that happened in March. Police say the student brought a pistol in his backpack along with two rounds of ammunition. No one was hurt during the incident.
The youth, who can not be named, has not been allowed to attend the high school since the incident occurred. He had pleaded guilty to the charges in May.
