A driver with a learner’s permit was the last straw for police in Plamondon. Mounties are saying on September 25th they clocked a driver heading through the hamlet at around 114 kilometres per hour. That’s about 65 km/hr faster than the posted speed limit of 50.
The RCMP is saying radar enforcement will be noticed more and stricter after many complaints from residents. The driver, a youth under the age of 18, will now face court in Lac La Biche in November.
