Mounties say Bonnyville man had drugs, stolen property

Mounties in Two Hills as well as the Eastern Alberta Rural Crime Reduction Unit say an investigation into stolen property has led to the arrest of a Bonnyville man. Police say on August 28th mounties headed to a home in Myrnam as part of their investigation into stolen property. When they got to the house, mounties say a man attempted to take off through the window of a motorhome parked on the property.

Police arrested the man after a short chase. A 42-year-old man from Bonnyville now faces new charges of possession of meth and others on top of outstanding warrants. He’ll stay in police custody and see Edmonton court on September 26th.
