The RCMP in Cold Lake is saying six people are now in custody after a warrant round-up in relation to property crime in the area. Mounties say on the evening of August 30th police began the search for suspects. Two of the men arrested already had outstanding warrants.
A 20-year-old, 48-year-old and 21 year-old man as well as an 18 year old man and 18-year-old woman have all been arrested and are all from either the Cold Lake First Nation or the Cold Lake area. A 15 year-old minor was also taken into custody.
They all now face a variety of charges that include assault and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00. They all have various court dates around the Lakeland in the coming weeks.
