Charity Showcase at the Lyle Victor Albert back for another year

A night of local talent in Bonnyville is back to raise money. The annual Charity Showcase at the Lyle Victor Albert will be curtains up on September 8th. This year, all money raised will go to support the new theatre fund as the Lyle prepares to close its doors permanently.

Showcase coordinator Riwa Kamaleddine says the local musical lineup is just part of the fun.

“It includes musicians from our community. It will also have a silent auction, 50/50.”

The showcase was started last year when Kamaleddine was Miss East-Central Alberta. Her title reign ended in March. She says the showcase will continue for as long as she can make it happen.

“It’ll be held every year with the proceeds going to different causes.”

Tickets are available at Tellier’s Pharmacy and Norglass in Bonnyville. You can keep up to date with the Bonnyville Fine Arts Society on their Facebook page.
