Elk Point mounties say search turns up stolen items

Mounties in Elk Point say a search warrant has turned up a few stolen items in Frog Lake. Police say on August 16th they raided a home after investigating a break and enter on a lease site at Tulliby Lake near the start of August.

Mounties say a search of the home turned up three batteries belonging to Canadian Natural Resources Limited. A chainsaw and bow were also found.

A 42-year-old man from Frog Lake now faces charges including four counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He’ll make his first appearance in a St. Paul courtroom on September 6th.

RCMP are asking anyone else who may have info on the crime to call the Elk Point detachment at 780-724-3964 or Crime Stoppers.
