Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St.Paul UCP announces forum as membership deadline hits

The new Bonnyville-Cold Lake- St.Paul United Conservative Party Association is announcing plans for a candidate forum as party members in the Lakeland get ready to take to the polls. The association has three candidates in the running for the right to represent the party in a 2019 election.

Current Lac La Biche-St. Paul-Two Hills MLA Dave Hanson, Mayor of Cold Lake Craig Copeland as well as teacher Glenn Spiess are all looking to get the nod. Sitting Bonnyville- Cold Lake MLA Scott Cyr announced back in April he wouldn’t be seeking re-election.

A candidates forum where the public will get to hear from the men has been set for September 5th at 7 pm. The Agriplex at the Bonnyville C2 will play host. In order to vote, memberships for the party must be purchased by today.

More about the association can be found on their Facebook page.
