Metis nation of Alberta hosting Naloxone clinic in Lakeland

The Metis Nation of Alberta is hoping some knowledge and instruction can help save a life in the Lakeland. The group is hosting free Take Home Naloxone Kit (THNK) distribution and training. Naloxone is a lifesaving medicine that can reverse opioid overdose.

Walk-in sessions will be held in Bonnyville, Cold Lake and St. Paul. Discussion on overdose prevention, signs and symptoms of opioid overdose and more will be touched on. Safely administering the Naloxone will be part of instruction as well.
