St. Paul mounties arrest two on theft charges

RCMP in St. Paul say a pair of men are now facing charges after a variety of tools were stolen. Police say on July 16th they spotted two suspects in a theft investigation while on patrol. The suspects tried to get away but were quickly caught by mounties. RCMP say they had stolen tools, a chainsaw as well as a drill when they were arrested.

A 29-year-old and 18-year-old man, both from St.Paul, now face charges that include theft under $5000 and resisting a peace officer. The 18-year-old suspect will see St. Paul Court on July 26 while the 29-year-old suspect has his hearing on August 16th.
