Bonnyville mounties say drugs, crossbow found during search

Police in Bonnyville say a search of a home has turned up multiple drugs as well as evidence of trafficking. Mounties say on July 21st members of the General Investigative Section as well as regular members conducted a search warrant on a home in the Sportsman Trailer Park.

It was in the home where mounties say they found over 80 grams of cocaine, 295 grams of what is believed to be MDMA as well as a crossbow and numerous items they believe were tied to drug trafficking.

A 28-year-old man from Bonnyville is now facing charges that include two different counts of possession of a controlled substance with the purpose of trafficking. He’ll see Bonnyville Court on August 28.
