RCMP unit arrests wanted St. Paul man

The RCMP Eastern Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit says they’ve arrested a St. Paul man wanted on several provincial warrants. Police say the 39-year-old man was found in St. Paul and arrested without incident. He’ll be in St. Paul court on July 19th

Mounties then turned their attention looking for another wanted man. Police say they weren’t able to find him but they did find a stolen car. The car has been seized and is currently undergoing an investigation.

“We want the public to know our Rural Crime Reduction Unit is out there in communities addressing crime hotspots,” says Constable Guillaume Wilson. “We will continue to target repeat offenders who commit crimes and bring them before the courts.”
