RCMP are saying a 19-year-old man from Bonnyville is among those facing charges including stealing a new car from a dealership in Edmonton. Police from the Central Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit were on patrol in Nisku on June 29th when they spotted a 2018 Subaru that matched the description of one previously stolen. Police say pulling over the vehicle lead to finding drugs as well as some other stolen property.
A 19-year-old man from Bonnyville is now facing charges that include possession of property obtained in a crime as well as possession of methamphetamine. He’ll be in Leduc court on July 26th. A 47-year old man from Redwater was also arrested at the scene.
