A thunderstorm watch, the second in three days, has been issued for the Lakeland by Environment Canada. Officials believe a storm tracking across the province could bring large sized hail as well as winds gusting to damaging speeds.
Very large hail can damage property, break windows, dent vehicles and cause serious injury. Very strong wind gusts can damage buildings, down trees and blow large vehicles off the road. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
