Cold Lake RCMP investigating break and enter that saw dog shot

A number of items are now missing and a family pet has been killed after a break and enter. RCMP from Cold Lake are saying on June 2nd a suspect or suspects entered a rural property about 30 kilometers southwest of Cold Lake near the community of Beaverdam. a 1994 Blue GMC Sierra, a quad and a few chainsaws were stolen.

Police believe during the crime, The family dog was shot on the property, later dying of its injuries. Mounties combed the area but did not find the stolen truck. They are asking the public to keep a lookout. The suspects are considered armed and should not be approached.
