A hockey club in the Lakeland is teaming up with a local restaurant to help send support to the Humboldt Broncos. Members of the St. Paul Canadiens will be on hand May 5th at the Smitty’s Restaurant in St. Paul to help serve food, seat guests and play a few games of road hockey with some fans in the parking lot.
The restaurant has announced that 50% of sales from the evening will go towards the families of the Humboldt Broncos hockey club. The record setting GofundMe page set up for the team had reached over $15 million before it was taken off the website.
