Glendon School has found their new Principal. Maureen Ference was announced as the new leader for the 2018-2019 school year. She was previously Principal of H.E. Bourgoin School in Bonnyville, a position she started in 2004.
“Maureen has excelled as an administrator with Northern Lights, establishing strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders,” said Superintendent Rick Cusson. “She demonstrates a deep dedication to student achievement, leadership development, and lifelong learning that supports and encourages others to excel. We are excited to have her share her invaluable experience and knowledge with students and staff at Glendon School.”
She currently leads the “Aspiring Leadership Cohort” for Northern Lights and Aspen View Public Schools. Ference will be teaming with the current Glendon School principal over the next couple of months to ensure a smooth transition for staff and students.
