St.Paul RCMP nab two on drug charges

St.Paul RCMP have two men they believe were trafficking drugs in the Saddle Lake area. Police say on April 24th they tried to stop a stolen pickup truck but it sped off after a passenger jumped out. The passenger was arrested and the truck was later found abandoned near Highway 652. Mounties were able to find and arrest the driver a little later using a police dog.

RCMP are saying that over $2100 and pills believed to have been opioids were found with the two men. A 26 year old from Red Earth Creek and a 19 year old from Saddle Lake are facing charges including trafficking and possession of stolen property. They’ll both be in St. Paul Provincial Court on May 10th.
