Cold Lake will be home to a new fire hall come 14 to 16 months says Deputy Mayor Vicky Lafabvre, who notes construction has broken ground. “Right now they should be almost finished all the underground work”, states Deputy Mayor Lafabvre, who goes on to say about the old structure, “it was an old fire hall, it needed to be upgraded”.
The new fire hall will feature, an administrative space for both Cold Lake Fire-Rescue and EMS members, dormitory facilities, a dedicated Emergency Operations Centre for the City of Cold Lake, a multipurpose tower that can be used for training and as a hose tower and a kitchen and lounge area.
