High water forces MD to close bridge

The MD has decided a better safe than sorry approach is best when it comes to Lessard Bridge. The bridge, located on Range Road 52 in the MD has been shut down due to high water levels affecting the integrity of the bridge. Drivers are asked to watch for detour signs in the area and obey them

The MD says they will be inspecting the bridge once the water recedes. Their Facebook page will give updates as they become available. No word has been given as to how long the bridge will be down.
