Fatal Single Vehicle Collision Near Lac La Biche

**Press Release from Lac La Biche RCMP**

On April 14, 2015 at approximately 7:30 p.m., members of Lac La Biche RCMP were dispatched to a single vehicle collision on Mission Road near Lac La Biche.

Upon arrival at the scene, the vehicle appeared to have left the highway and rolled. There were three male occupants of the vehicle, two of whom were ejected.  One male, 19 years of age, was in critical condition and transported by air ambulance to an Edmonton–area hospital. The other two vehicle occupants, both 18 years of age, were transported to an Edmonton-area hospital by ground ambulance in stable condition.  The 19-year-old male later succumbed to his injuries on April 15.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the collision, and an RCMP collision analyst is assisting with this ongoing investigation.
