RCMP charge man with second degree murder after St.Paul assault

RCMP have laid charges of second degree murder on a man after an incident at a St.Paul motel. Mounties are saying on March 29th at around 10:44 pm they were called to a reported aggravated assault at a motel in St. Paul. Police found a seriously hurt man who was eventually taken to an Edmonton hospital for treatment. Mounties say yesterday morning the man died of his injuries. An autopsy confirmed his death to be a homicide.

Police have charged 42 year old William Adaire Cardinal with second degree murder. He’ll stay in RCMP custody and appear in St. Paul Provincial Court on April 12th via CCTV.
