Energy centre sign getting an overhaul

People may notice a new look for the sign outside the Cold Lake Energy Centre. Cold Lake City Council heard from Glenn Barnes, General Manager of Community Services for the City of Cold Lake about some of the work being done on the sign. Barnes says the new look sign will include re-painting and feature better graphics with new glass on top.

Portage College and Cold Lake High School are due to pitch in on the estimated $248,000 cost of the job. The City of Cold Lake has also put some money forward, upping the capital budget for the centre by $150,000.
