Update – Elk Point RCMP says they have both men wanted from Fishing Lake

Elk Point are confirming that they have arrested  28 year old Matthew Lajimodiere who was wanted with in connection to firearms offences.

His brother Myles Robert Lajimodiere was arrested last week on the same charges.

They both remain in police custody and will be appearing in St. Paul Provincial Court today.

Elk Point RCMP are saying they’ve arrested Myles Robert Lajimodiere and he remains in police custody for charges in relation to his warrants.

Mounties are still looking for Matthew Lajimodiere of Fishing Lake and encourage him to turn himself in.

Elk Point RCMP are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Matthew, not to approach him and to contact Elk Point RCMP at 780-724-3829 or your local police.

Elk Point RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding two men who are wanted after they say a resident was threatened and shot at.

On January 22nd, mounties responded to a complaint in Fishing Lake after a caller said two men had threatened and shot at them. RCMP say an investigation has lead to a warrant.

28 year old Matthew Lajimodiere and 31 year old Myles Robert Lajimodiere are both wanted by police on a variety of firearms related offences. Both are thought to frequent Fishing Lake and Frog Lake.

Police say anyone with information should call 911, the Elk Point detachment at 780-724-3829 or Crime Stoppers. Both men are considered dangerous and should not be approached.
