Head Bonnyville mountie taking job in St. Paul

The former head of the Bonnyville RCMP detachment is headed west to St. Paul. Staff Sergeant Luis Gandolfi has accepted a position with the same rank that will see him oversee the St. Paul area. S/Sgt. Gandolfi served the Bonnyville detachment for eight years, with stops in five communities over 12 years prior.

No date for a replacement for leader of Bonnyville detachment has been named as of yet. In the mean time, Sergeant Sarah Parke is overseeing operations. The Bonnyville public will continue to see S/Sgt. Gandolfi in the community, as he has decided not to move and instead commute.
