Update- Mounties find truck, one firearm

Mounties are reporting that a tip from the public lead police to find the truck at about 1 pm in Bonnyville. Police were able to recover one of the missing firearms as well.  Their investigation continues.

RCMP are encouraging anyone with information on the crime to call the St. Paul detachment or Crime Stoppers.

St.Paul RCMP are asking you to keep an eye out for a truck that was stolen today. At about 8 am this morning, police responded to a call about a truck being stolen on 48th ave in St.Paul. Police say the truck was probably taken between midnight and 8 am. Mounties are also saying the truck had two unloaded firearms inside when it was stolen.

It’s described as a red Ford F-250 with a custom made slip tank and tool box in the back, and black rims. It has an Alberta license plate of BZK 7111, and could have a broken window. Police are asking the public not to approach the vehicle if it is spotted. Instead, call the St. Paul RCMP at 780-645-8870 or your local police.
