Bonnyville mounties are saying a young student found what turned out to be a BB gun on her way to school this morning. The student was walking to her bus near 47th ave and 42nd street in Bonnyville when police say she spotted what looked to be a pistol on the ground. The student reported what she had found to her bus driver, who then called police.
Mounties confirmed it was a BB gun and they’re now trying to determine how it ended up on the sidewalk. Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP detachment at 780-780-343-7200.
