St. Paul mounties arrest two on drug and weapons charges

St. Paul RCMP are saying an investigation at a local building has resulted in an arrest and seizure of multiple items related to drug trafficking. On March 17th, Mounties say they were investigating a business in St. Paul when they came across a 24 year old man wanted on drug charges with the city of Edmonton. Police say when he was searched, they found individually packaged amounts of cocaine and money on him.

The next day, RCMP executed a search warrant on a home in St. Paul and reportedly found cocaine, marijuana, pills and money among other items. They’re also saying a firearm and ammunition was seized.

A 24 year old St. Paul man is facing charges including possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking and others. He remains in custody and will see a court room tomorrow.

A 31 year old woman from Cold Lake was also arrested, shes facing charges including possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by a crime among others. She’ll be in St Paul court on April 5th.
