Lac La Biche County named one of the best places to work in the province

Lac La Biche County has been named one of the Alberta’s top 70 employers, according to the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers. The years winner’s are compared in an eight point criteria, and also compared to other businesses in their field to determine which one offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.

Some of the reasons the county was picked include the amount of maternity leave it offers, the health plan employees use, and subsidized access to fitness facilities. The county currently features 168 full-time and 18 part-time employees.

All 70 organizations picked were featured in a special magazine in major publications throughout the province.
