Bonnyville couple get a little extra after stopping for gas

Blake and Tina Pikowicz figured they may as well check their lottery ticket when they stopped for gas. As luck would have it, it’s made them $250,000 richer. The Bonnyville couple had won the Extra on their February 3rd 6/49 ticket.

“I checked a few of our tickets while Blake paid for gas,” said Tina. “When I saw a bunch of
numbers on the screen, I called Blake to come over and see.”

“We were both in shock,” adds Blake. “We couldn’t believe it!”

When asked what the money would go to, the pair had a few ideas.

“We’re in the middle of house renovations right now,” said Tina. “But I think we’ll plan a family
vacation sometime soon.”

The couple say they bought the lucky ticket while filling up in Waskatenau.
