Mobile mammography trailer in St. Paul

For women in rural and remote communities, it can be hard to get routinely checked for breast cancer. Alberta Health Services has its mobile mammography unit in St. Paul this week.

It will again be stationed at the Health Unit from January 29th to 31st and February 1st to 3rd. Alberta Health Services says early detection of breast cancer is often the best way to increase the odds of beating the cancer.

Women aged 50 to 74 are most at risk of developing breast cancer and should get screened every two years.
