A new seminar series on starting a tourism business in Alberta will kick off next month in Alberta. The Tourism Entrepreneurship Startup Seminar is meant to give entrepreneurs free expert advice and information about the opportunities and challenges facing the industry.
“Tourism helps diversify the economy, create jobs and encourage investment in communities across Alberta,” says Minister of Culture and Tourism Ricardo Miranda. “The vitality and continued potential of Alberta’s tourism sector is a credit to the province’s entrepreneurs who help create and support must-see attractions and experiences.”
The seminar starts in Cold Lake on Febraury 7th and will go over topics like seasonality, financing and marketing. It’s free to attend, but anyone interested needs to register ahead of time.
