New hockey tournament to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities

A new event is being held in Bonnyville in just one month. Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Alberta will be hosting the Winterland Invitational, a hockey tournament for atom and novice teams.

In total, 20 teams in each division will be taking part in the special tournament, which has been dedicated to keeping families close. Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for families with critically ill or injured children that need to get treatment at a hospital in Edmonton.

The event runs February 16th to 18th at the Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre and the Glendon Arena.
