Leak found in Lac La Biche Airport main discharge line

Water at the Lac La Biche Airport and the surrounding area had to be shut off for a couple of hours Thursday after a small leak was found on its main discharge line. The line supplies all residents between the hamlet of Lac La Biche, the Mission and Plamondon.

A section of the line was isolated to repair the leak, and people in the airport, Martin subdivision, and Lac La Biche West were affected. The work was expected to take two hours starting at 1 p.m.
