Mobile mammogram clinic coming to Bonnyville

Alberta Health Services will be making mammogram services available to local residents. A mobile mammography trailer will be set up at the Bonnyville Healthcare Centre January 13, then again the 15 to 20 and lastly from the 22 until the 25. Those looking to learn more about the services offered or book an appointment can call 1-800-667-0604.

The service is recommended for women between the ages of 50 and 74 since AHS says they are at the greatest risk of developing the disease. The Screen Test program works to bring mammogram services to communities where the test is not “readily available and helps to test hundreds of women around the province every year.
