The Food Bank in St. Paul received a somewhat unusual donation of pails of blueberry pie filling, unsure what to do with the donation, they turned to the culinary students at Portage College.
The students were able to bake 86 blueberry pies with the filing, just in time for Easter Weekend. Volunteers with the St. Paul Food Bank then handed out the pies, for free, to community members.
