Two in critical condition after Highway 41 crash

Two people remain in hospital following a crash south of La Corey last week. At 2:15 p.m. on Friday, November 24th, emergency services were called to the two-vehicle collision on Highway 41 near Township Road 630.

Bonnyville RCMP say two pickup trucks had crashed in the ditch, injuring four people. The drivers and two children were taken by ambulance to the Bonnyville Hospital, and then hospitals in Edmonton for further treatment.

Both drivers were in critical condition and are still being treated, while the children have since been released. Police say the crash is still under investigation and undisclosed charges are pending.
