A family is safe and unharmed after a house fire in Cold lake on Tuesday night.
Cold Lake Fire Rescue arrived around 9:50 PM after receiving a call of flames coming from the roof of the house and remained at the scene until 1 the next morning. Investigators believe the fire started in the attic, but are unsure of the exact cause at this time. The family of four living at the residence were evacuated without any injuries. Whether or not they’ll be able to return to the home remains to be determined.
