The long closed 49th avenue might soon be opened again, as construction on Bonnyville’s new town hall begins to wind up.
When the town administration will actually move into the new building remains unclear, but work on the outside is nearly finished. Estimates that the building will be finished up completely in four to six weeks. Demolition of the old building and building a new parking lot have been postponed until the spring due to weather.
So far, the construction has remained both on schedule and within budget.
