Bonnyville Policing Survey Being Sent Out

Bonnyville residents will be getting a survey on local policing with their water bill this month.

The town’s Community Policing Committee sends out the survey once a year to gauge how the public feels local law enforcement is doing. In addition to a list of questions, there will also be a space for people to write their own comments at the end.

The surveys have resulted in concrete action in the past. The 2016 survey is the reason  there are now flashing signs that show your speed around town. The local RCMP encourages both positive and negative feedback from locals so that they can improve.

Surveys can be submitted at the town’s website or at town hall. If you don’t get a water bill, you can also go to the town hall to pick up a copy for yourself. The deadline for surveys is December 31st.
