Trapping Courses Offered in MD Early December

The MD of Bonnyville is holding more trapping courses for hunters in early December.

The Alberta Trappers’ Association conducts several training courses every year throughout the province. The courses are 28 hours long. The cost is 399 dollars, and includes the Education Manual.

The program content includes:
• History & Development of the Fur Industry
• Biology of Furbearers
• Management of Furbearers
• Required Equipment
• Preparation & Business Management
• Humane Harvesting
• Fur Handling
• Fur Marketing
• Field Trips

The course will be held on December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at the Public Works/Agriculture Services Shop (61330 RR 455). Call 780-349-6626 to register.
