Two Charged After Two Assaults on Cold Lake FN

Cold Lake RCMP have charged a man and a woman in relation to two assaults on the Cold Lake First Nations.

Police discovered a man lying unconscious and a woman with minor injuries at the scene. The man was flown to Cold Lake Hospital, then eventually to Edmonton where he remains in serious, but stable condition. Both the male and female suspects have been charged with Assault with a Weapon.

Police say the individuals charged and the victims in this case were known to each other.
