Alberta Fish and Wildlife is on alert after three reports of a black bear being spotted in Cold Lake on Friday.
The bear was spotted both on 51st Avenue & 47th Avenue during the day.
Officials recommend that residents not leave any garbage or items that might appeal to a bear outside. This includes dogs and cats as well as their food, which a bear can pick up on the scent of.
Call 911 if you see a bear in an urban area.
