Hungry For the Homeless Raises $1644 and Counting for Friendship Centre

Ecole Notre Dame High School’s third annual Hungry for the Homeless campaign is being declared a success, with lots of food and money raised for the Bonnyville Native Friendship Centre this Thanksgiving.

Students were outside the Sylvestre’s Source For Sports and Sobey’s parking lots on Friday evening collecting donations. In addition to many non-perishable food donations, the school says they were also able to raise 1644 dollars in cash.

If you wanted to make a donation but couldn’t fit it into your schedule that day, don’t worry. The school is holding  a food drive among their students this week but would be more than happy to accept any donations you drop off until Friday.
